First Latin American Baptist Church

Project Summary

First Latin Baptist Church was displaced  through eminent domain by MDOT in preparation for the construction of the Gordie Howe International Bridge.  Prior to relocation, renovations were undertaken to which AGI was contracted to perform as a General Contractor on the project.  Our commitment to community and being a good corporate citizen, AGI also performed consulting and estimating services on behalf of First Latin in order to provide them with additional insight in order to be better positioned to receive fair and equitable relief for their relocation.

This project required major excavation under ground that expanded the existing 500 sf  basement to over 2000 sf.  Installed additional structural support and foundation. Renovation provided additional classrooms, bathroom, kitchen and small childcare space.   AGI is currently working on design build for an an additional pre fabricated annex  building coming in Fall 2020.
